The Historic "American" Waltham Watch Factory complex is located along the Charles River in Waltham Massachusetts and consists of approximately 400,000 square feet of space in 22 interconnected buildings.  Formed in 2007, "Watch City Ventures, LLC" aquired the property and initiated a complete phased rehabilitation and adaptive reuse of the complex as a vibrant mix of office, residential and retail uses with riverfront amenities.  With its proximity to Boston and major routes and impressive water views, the Waltham Watch Factory has been transformed into a mixed-use complex with modern office space, retail, restaurants, and residential lofts.

Hybrid Parking Garages recently joined the team of Watch City VenturesColumbia Construction, Bruner Cott Architects and DM Berg Consultants to design and deliver new structured parking for the "American" Waltham Watch Company Factory building in Waltham, MA.  Hybrid was selected to provide parking and construction services to facilitate the affordable delivery of a multi-story garage, within a limited urban site, while maintaining both aggressive project schedules and budget requirements. 

The two phase development for this important historic factory redevelopment on the banks of the Charles River in Waltham, MA. includes a 177,000-square foot office space, as well as retail and residential portions.   The Hybrid parking garage will provide much needed parking for office tenants, residents and visitors.   The new parking is integrated, not only into the building structure, but also into the newly redeveloped landscaped courtyards, Riverwalk, pedestrian walking and biking path along the Charles River.

Hybrid's team has both prior experience and success in the affordable delievery of durable multi-storied parking garages for adaptive reuse and rehabilitation projects in Lawrence and Watertown, Massachusetts.  Providing affordable parking in conjunction with the adaptive reuse of historically important manufacturing spaces is a rewarding experience for all team members that allows us to enable these great edifices of US manufacturing to live again and reinvigorate their local communities!
